Terms of Service

Cateloom (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides an AI-powered product photography studio that transforms your uploaded product images into professional, studio-quality shots suitable for e-commerce, social media, and marketing. The service runs on third-party AI models and cloud infrastructure.

You (“you,” “your”) are the individual or business using Cateloom.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Cateloom. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@cateloom.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their explicit consent, and you may not use the service on behalf of a business without the authority to bind that business to these terms.

You may use Cateloom only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload images you do not own or have no right to use commercially.
• Generate images of people without their consent, or images that could be used to harass, defame, or harm anyone.
• Upload or generate sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise illegal content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract underlying AI models.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
• Upload images containing personal data of third parties without appropriate legal basis.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Your content

You retain ownership of the images you upload (“Input Images”) and the images generated by the AI based on them (“Output Images”), subject to any third-party rights in the underlying products depicted.

By uploading Input Images you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and transmit them solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your images to train AI models without your separate consent.

Our content

The Cateloom brand, website, user interface, and underlying software are our property and are protected by intellectual property law. These terms do not grant you any rights to our brand or platform other than the right to use the service as described here.

Credits

Cateloom operates on a credit system. Each image generation consumes credits. Free accounts receive 10 credits on signup. Additional credits can be purchased or unlocked through a paid subscription.

Credits are non-refundable once consumed, except where a technical failure on our end causes a generation to fail entirely — in that case we automatically refund the credits to your account.

Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.

We do not offer cash refunds for subscription payments, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

Pricing changes

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if your account is inactive for more than 12 months on a free plan.

On termination, your right to access the service ends immediately. We will retain your data as described in the Privacy Policy and delete it according to the retention schedule therein.

AI image generation is inherently non-deterministic. Results may vary and may occasionally produce unexpected, inaccurate, or undesirable outputs. We do not guarantee that generated images will be suitable for any particular commercial purpose.

You are responsible for reviewing Output Images before using them commercially and for ensuring they do not infringe third-party rights or make false claims about products.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cateloom and its directors, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000 (whichever is greater).

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice in the service. Your continued use after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
